TEST GASES

Every gas detector needs a known reference to check against. That reference is calibration gas: a certified mixture of a target gas at a stated concentration. We supply calibration gas cylinders for both everyday bump testing and full calibration of fixed and portable detectors, including propane, methane and carbon monoxide mixtures.

Bump test gas is used for quick checks that sensors and alarms respond, often before each use of a portable monitor. Calibration gas is used to set the detector’s reading against a known value. To deliver gas at the right flow, each cylinder needs a matching regulator. We supply fixed flow and multi-flow regulators to suit your detectors.

If you would rather have it done for you, our engineers carry out gas detector calibration on site with certified test gases and leave a certificate.
